BPUR International is proud to welcome Noora Al-Jarwi as our new Ambassador and International representative, and we are looking forward to her leading contributions to promote our initiative and boost our momentum worldwide.
Noora Al-Jarwi is a prominent activist in the fields of human rights, peacebuilding, women’s rights and the promotion of accountability and the rule of law, with a particular focus on documenting violations and rallying international advocacy for humanitarian causes.
She is the founder and president of the Women’s Alliance for Peace in Yemen (WAPY), an organisation that supports the initiative of BPUR International.
Since 2016, Noora Al-Jarwi has led initiatives to support conflict-affected communities in Yemen and represented civil society organisations at international forums. In these roles, she has collaborated with United Nations mechanisms, diplomatic missions and international organisations to promote human rights, build peace, defend women’s rights and expand horizons for international cooperation.
Currently residing in the UK, Noora Al-Jarwi dedicates her efforts to developing international initiatives that foster the values of tolerance and coexistence, confront the political abuse of religion and work to address the root causes of conflicts, thereby supporting the achievement of sustainable peace and promoting security and stability.
