The House of Coexistence

The House of Coexistence (HOC) is a multicultural community centre in Sinjar Iraq aiming to promote peace, coexistence, and human rights. The aim of the HOC post Yezidi genocide is to empower young people, and women in the post-war regions.  It is the first of its kind to operate educational and cultural programs in the region.

It was established by Aurora Prize Laureate Mirza Dinnayi, in 2019, as an independent non-profit NGO in Iraq. Within a few months, HOC became one of the most important NGOs and initiatives not only in the region but also on the national level.

The HOC is a highly recognised organization and is regularly visited by prominent international guests, including ministers, ambassadors, and official delegations from several around the world.
