Mr Casaca is founder & president of Alliance to Renew Co-operation among Humankind ‘ARCHumankind’ and founder & director of the ‘South Asia Democratic Forum’. He is also founder of ‘Euro Reform Initiative’ and the sustainable development consultancy ‘LessMeansMore’.
He is former member of the European Parliament 1999-2009 and the Portuguese parliament 1992-1993.
Professor Casaca is a prominent lecturer and author of several books and reports on economics and international politics.
