Khaleda Khaleel is a leading politician representing the Yazidi people in the Iraqi Parliament and a prominent legislator, promoting new laws to protect minorities, social justice, human rights and combating discrimination and religious persecution.
She is award-winning writer, novelist, and poetess with seven published books and co-author of several others.
She is also a prominent academic and visiting lecturer to many universities, think tanks and speaker at international conferences.
