Mr Sumaidaie is a former Iraqi permanent representative at the United Nations 2004-2006, ambassador to the United States 2006-2012 and minister of interior 2004.
He is also renowned writer, lecturer, speaker in international conferences and leading activist for human rights, women’s rights and children’s welfare.
