The National Human Rights Council of Morocco (CNDH) and BPUR International will convene the Rabat Founding Summit on 23 January 2027, to formally adopt the Declaration of Intent on Preventing the Political Abuse of Religion and establish the International Partnership built around it.
The Summit marks a transformational step forward in BPUR International’s roadmap, introducing the Declaration to the international agenda and launching a new phase of international cooperation.
This Partnership brings together governments, lawmakers, human rights institutions and international leaders around a practical framework to address the root causes of religious conflicts and discrimination. It seeks to establish clear international principles that protect freedom of religion or belief, equality and the sanctity of faith from political abuse.
The Rabat Summit will create a platform for governments and institutions from different regions to work collectively towards advancing the Declaration and its principles internationally.
