She is the Chairperson on Functional Committee on Human Rights and passionate activist on women right, equality and justice campaigns.
She is also former Deputy Mayor of Karachi and former member of the Senate Standing Committees and Commerce and on Foreign Affairs and on Health, Social Welfare and special Education.
