Sandro Gozi is a leading politician and Member of the European Parliament since 2019, representing France on the list of President Macron’s La République En Marche (LREM).

He is a former member of the Italian Chamber of Deputies from 2006 to 2018, representing the Democratic Party, a former Diplomat and senior official in the European Commission, who participated in the negotiations on the Amsterdam Treaty.
