Fadi Abi Allam is a prominent global advocate for peacebuilding, conflict resolution, transitional justice, human rights, non-violence, and environmental sustainability. He is the founding member and director of the Permanent Peace Movement (PPM) and serves as the Middle East and North Africa Regional Coordinator for the Global Partnership for the Prevention of Armed Conflict (GPPAC).
He is also the President of the Green Party of Lebanon, the Coordinator of the Non-Violence Network in Arab Countries, and a member of the steering committees of the Arab Network for Civic Education (ANHRE), the International Coalition for the Responsibility to Protect (ICRtoP), and the Forum of Memory and Future (FMF) and the Non-Violence Peaceforces.
Fadi Abi Allam is a former advisor of the Prime Minister and the Minister of the Displaced in Lebanon, where he led national reconciliation efforts, advanced a comprehensive reintegration and development strategy for displaced communities, and coordinated closely with international organisations on durable solutions.
He studied International Affairs and Business Economics, and holds a Master’s degree in Political Science, in addition to several specialised certificates, including in Peacebuilding from the Eastern Mennonite University and Strategic Organizational Management from the Harvard Kennedy School.
