BPUR International is delighted to receive the support Bishop Malkhaz Songulashvili and looking forward for his leading contributions to enhance our momentum and work to enact an ‘International Treaty to Ban the Political Use of Religion’.
Dr Songulashvili is the Metropolitan Bishop of Tbilisi, liturgical writer, Bible translator and professor of comparative theology at Ilia State University.
He is prominent interfaith bridge builder, working on developing an interfaith centre with a Peace Mosque and a Peace Synagogue adjunct to the main nave of the Peace Cathedral.
