Martins Bondars is a leading Latvian politician and financier, Chairman of the Parliamentary Budget and Finance Committee.
He was a presidential candidate for Latvian election in 2015, former leader of the Latvian Association of Regions and a member of its constituent party, the Regional Alliance until 2017.
Bondars is also former Chief of Staff to then President of Latvia Vaira Vīķe-Freiberga and former chairman of the Latvijas Krājbanka board.
