Lord Khan is a leading British politician, member of the House of Lords, the current Mayor of Lancashire and former Labour Party spokesman for human rights.
He is an award winning academic in Community Leadership, developing projects for youth empowerment and supporting workers’ rights.
Lord Kan is a former Member of the European Parliament, member of the Foreign Affairs Committee and Human Rights Committee, as well as the Arab Peninsula and South Asia delegations.
He is also a former special Envoy to the Muslim Communities worldwide for the Socialists and Democrats group in the European Parliament.
