Martin Engelberg is a leading politician and Psychoanalyst, Consultant and Coach Member of the Austrian Parliament. For more than twenty years Martin Engelberg has been consulting executive teams, organising and facilitating leadership, team development and coaching programs.
He is the executive partner of the Vienna Consulting Group, adjunct professor at the Vienna University of Business and Economics, regular columnist in Austrian newspapers and founder of the Jewish quarterly magazine “NU” as well as co-founder and executive director of the Vienna Psychoanalytic Academy (2007-2012).
Martin Engelberg is currently the president of the Sigmund Freud Society, member of the International Society for the Psychoanalytic Study Organisations (ISPSO) and member of the Vienna Psychoanalytic Society (WPV) as well as the International Psychoanalytic Association (IPA).
He is a member of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs, the Committee on Human Rights and the Parliamentary Committee on Arts and Culture.
Furthermore, Martin Engelberg is the spokesperson for international development at the Austrian People’s Party and chairman of the “Parliamentary Friendship Group Great Britain – Austria”. He is also the Chairman of the Inter-Parliamentary group of the Transatlantic Friends of Israel.
