Emma Louise Powell is an emerging prominent South African politician and current Member of Parliament (MP) for the Democratic Alliance (DA).

Prior to becoming an MP, Emma worked in local government specialising in policy, communications and political advisory. She later became the Chief of Staff to the Chief Whip of the Official Opposition in Parliament.

In June 2019, she was appointed as the Deputy Shadow Minister of Human Settlements and Water Affairs. In December 2020, she became the Shadow Minister for Housing.
