Anastas Angjeli is a prominent professor of economics and finance, with outstanding contributions in public finance and structural reforms and a member of parliament since 2013 as well as between 1991-2005.
He served as Minister of Finance and Minister of Labour and Social Affairs.
Dr. Anastas Angjeli has been a member of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Albania since 2009 and elected Member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts since July 2014.
He is recognised for his leading contribution to the budget and fiscal reform, the development of the financial system, the implementation of policies for the benefit of business development and domestic and foreign investments in Albania.
Professor Angjeli is the author and co-author of several university books and monographs, many scientific articles, and studies of national and regional Economic subjects.
