Angela Todd-Drake moved to the non-profit sector, due to her interest in human rights, social justice and the need to make a difference. Around her work in grant management (both UK and international), database management, fundraising, and funding evaluation she has also fitted in campaigning and canvassing with a UK equality group.
Before her move to the charity sector, she worked in market research, (specifically project management and training field researchers) and ran her own training business. Before this, she worked in the Thames Valley, mostly on improvement projects for tech multinationals.
Recent world events have only re-affirmed her long held belief in the need to reduce political conflict caused by differences in religion, and that there is always more that unites us than divides us. She is eager to assist BPUR with their fundraising and campaigning efforts.
