Agnese Cigliano has a legal background and 14 years of experience in both the corporate and the non-profit sectors.
Being passionate about global justice and sustainable development, Agnese has been part of several advocacy projects and campaigns at the international level. She facilitated multi-lateral negotiations, including consultations organised in coordination with UNDPI, UNESCO, and ASEM.
In the UK, she has been part of civil society’s advocacy efforts for the replenishment of the Global Partnership for Education and the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria.
In her latest professional engagements, Agnese focused on developing L&D and CSR plans in corporate settings, consulting for FTSE-listed and emerging companies in the tech and fin-tech sectors, focusing on applications of tech for good and Society 5.0 as part of the wider achievement of the Agenda2030.
Agnese strongly believes in amplifying the voice of under-represented groups in decision-making platforms, such as grassroots movements, racial and ethnic minorities, migrants, youth, women and people of different beliefs and orientations. Most of her projects are aimed at making this mission a reality.
